Urban Fashion Needs A Bigger Stage

Once again I must state that I'm bringing fashion to a practical level. So many years I've known and have been one of those people that resented fashion because, I felt rejected from it. I thought fashion was only for the wealthy. I though fashion was only for the artsy, intellectual type. Then I hit an epiphany! Fashion impacts everyone! For example, when you woke up and put on a sweater the thought process is the process that made fashion an industry. Everyone has done it and I'll bet you'll do it again.
So with that introduction it is now all about urban fashion. Urban fashion maybe known as 'hip hop'. 'Hip hop' is an industry, culture, and style that is definitely included with music, television, and fashion. For this site to truly be about fashion I had to include all aspects of it. Especially when a major event called Rip the Runway is hitting television this month.
The thing about Rip the Runway that intrigues me is that it is realistic. Anyone has access to the clothing shown. So it reflects what fashion really is: a stage for talent to influence minds and takeover that moment of the day when you choose what you wear.
